Remaining Events
As the History Month was in June, most events have now passed. However, inevitably there are a few that couldn't be scheduled for the main month. The remaining events are listed below.
11th July: Traveller Open Day at Yateley Green, third year it has run, including story tellers etc, this year involving school children, in history projects, children and grandparents.
Saturday 12 July
The Romany & Traveller Family History Society will have a stand at the Glamorgan Family History Society at the National Waterfront Museum, Swansea.
13th July: Romany Camp and Culture day 11am-4pm
In the grounds of the Old Hall, Gainsborough
Vardo on display, Gypsy crafts, Display of crystal ball,fortune telling items, Books, DVD's, Pictures for Sale. LGLG Display boards etc. All welcome.
Saturday 19th July: Music in Wanstead Park London
A local community event including a old Wagon and traditional Gypsy crafts.
Saturday 26th July: The Romany & Traveller Family History Society will have a stand at the Bucks Family History Society Open Day, The Grange High School, Wendover Way, Aylesbury.
15th Aug: Travellers Tales-Childrens storytelling in Gainsborough Library.
25th Aug: Romany Camp and Culture day 11am-4pm
Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Lincoln.
