Guildford Borough Council have organised a celebration day.

The Mayor of Guildford will be opening the event and also undertaking a prize-giving for the best poster of family heritage. We have scrap books that the local Gypsy community have made with local schools. Traveller Education are making displays and there will be music taster sessions for the children, storytelling by Hilda Brazil and much, much more.

Zingaros (all the way from Argentina - this is their first London gig) This elaborate fusion of Slavonic Gypsy music, tango flavour, hot club nuances, and contemporary chords, opens up inexhaustible horizons to be explored.

An exciting opportunity to learn from Travellers about their way of life, both past and present. All activities are led by Travellers, they include story telling, crafts, music, dance and exploring beautiful wagons and trailers.
