Be-Longing: Traveller Stories; Traveller Lives Exhibition
Traveller communities are the largest ethnic minority group in Europe with over 12 million people. For centuries they have suffered extreme levels of prejudice. It has been necessary for some to hide their identity to survive. Eva Sajovic’s exciting photographic exhibition Be-Longing shows the richness and diversity in the history and culture of these communities. Runs until 30 June.

Moving Forward Together
‘Moving Forward together’ is a collection of photographs and children’s work celebrating Gypsy, Roma and Traveller culture and history in London. This exciting exhibition in City Hall is part of the third National celebration of GRTHM and has been put together by the London organization for Traveller Education Services Coordinators. The exhibition, which includes the Cloth of Gold project, highlights the existence of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities living in London and the positive engagement made by these communities.
Continues until 25 June.
The organisers hope it will help visitors to develop an understanding and appreciation of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Communities, their rich history and culture and helps to dispel common myths and stereotypes about these communities.
