An Apology
The Special Collections and Archives (SC&A) Division of the University of Liverpool has asked us to correct the copyright statement for the image on the bottom half of this year's GRTHM magazine cover. Permission for reproduction was incorrectly granted by SC&A, which apologises for this mistake, and for any upset that the use of the image may have caused. The copyright owner is Mr Mervyn S. Jones. We would like to add our apologies for the error to those of the SC&A.
Catch up with Last Year's Issues
GRTHM 2008 saw the publication of two magazines, an events listings magazine like this year, plus a small issue after the first History Month had finished. The printed copies are no longer available but you can download pdf copies here, or view the content online. Though the events outlined in the first magazine are out-of-date the magazine contained articles that will still whole interest. Plus it's interesting to remind ourselves what happened at last year's historic event.
